Former QUIET RIOT Drummer Says He Is Not Featured On New STEPHEN PEARCY Solo Album
July 3, 2004Former QUIET RIOT drummer Frankie Banali has issued a statement disputing published reports that he is featured on the new Stephen Pearcy (ex-RATT) solo album, "Fueler". "I did record three songs for Stephen late 2003 and the drum tracks turned out unbelievably well," Banali writes in the statement. "However, there seemed to have been a problem between Bob Kulick whose studio the tracks were recorded at and Stephen Pearcy. I had instructed Bob by phone, e-mail and in person repeatedly to turn the tracks over to Stephen after Stephen and I had concluded our business agreement, but Bob still refused to do so for reasons I simply don't understand. This forced Stephen to re-record the tracks with his current tour drummer. It's a real shame because I enjoyed recording with Stephen and was very happy with the results as was Stephen. I wish Stephen the best of luck with his new release and look forward to the possibility of recording with him in the future if the circumstances allow."
